Our Wedding Day January 9 1999
|
I'm 54 years old,
from Parma, MI,USA.
I was born in the Netherlands in the city of Rotterdam.
Came to the USA with my parents, (they are now 81) in 1956.
My husband is from Scotland. Received his email on Christmas Day 1997. This was the first of many to follow.
We met in February, 1998.....
Our love continued to grow and we made the decision for him to come over to the USA.
We set our wedding day date to January 9, 1999. During this time we had to make a lot of changes and load and loads of plans.
We bought a new home. This meant we both had to pack......his for coming here and mine for cleaning out years of accumulated items from children and Grand children.
In November of 1998 the journey was complete. We were together at last. Through our many "Hello's" and also the sad "Good Bye's" we survided. Our lives would now be complete.
With the help of Friends and Family our wedding was Beautiful. So Very "Special"
To share my life with my "Best Friend" is the most beautiful experience.
Iain is a Bagpipe player.....won a Gold Medal in Canada this year. I love the music. He will be joining the 78th Fraser Highland Band from Canada this year.
We both realize how very lucky we are to have this chance in life to have found the love we have.
We make the most of each day and enjoy it to the fullest.
Our Family at home consist of 2 cats and a bird.
Kitty was the first to come and live with me and then
Socks.
Kitty is very shy....in the years that I have had her she has never taken to any one. Then Iain came into her life....when ever he goes away....she cries for him for days....
Socks weighs 35 pounds and needles to say he will let you know that too. He loves to sit on your lap.....Oh the Wonderful World of animals.
We have a Canary also. He sings when ever Iain plays the bagpipes...they love music.

Justin...we still call him Jay lives in Pensylvania with his lovely wife Wendy. They received a precious gift this year......a wonderful baby girl named Amelia.
